This "campaign" is designed to raise awareness of patients that suffer hearing deficiency, and require treatment in health care facilities. Available staff will be made immediately aware of this condition, upon entering a patient's room.
HOW WILL IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
By providing specifically labeled items, care givers will be alerted to hearing impairment. Items such as wrist bands, signs, and writing implements will help so both the patient and caregiver can more effectively communicate.
WHAT ARE THE COSTS AND WHERE IS MY DONATION GOING?
Estimated cost for these "kits" is about $50 each. As our level of service increases our costs will, in turn, lower. Your donation will go to directly offset the costs of these "kits".
